T O P I C R E V I E WKarmic SoulI recently did a reading using Ceridwen's relationship spread, and everything made sense except for #8, "What the other person desires of you", for which I drew the 7 of Cups. WTF? Sorry, but I'm just not sure how to view that card in that position. It fits me in the sense that the card represents Venus in Scorpio, and my Venus is in Scorpio. But does the other person desire see you as a fantasy that either they can't have or that you either aren't or can't live up to? Any thoughts? For perspective, here's the reading: 1. King of Cups - what you reveal about yourself2. King of Wands - what the other person reveals about themself3. Knight of Wands - how you see the other person (incl. feelings)4. Knight of Pents - how the other person sees you (incl. feelings)5. 10 of Pents - how you view the relationship6. 4 of Pents - how he views the relationship7. Strength - what you desire of the other person8. 7 of Cups - what the other person desires of you9. 8 of Pents - what's it all about10. 2 of Cups - (I drew an optional clarification card for #9 and got this.)------------------Virgo Sun/Aries Moon/Libra Mercury/Scorpio Venus/Taurus Mars/Virgo ASCKarmic Soulbump------------------Virgo Sun/Aries Moon/Libra Mercury/Scorpio Venus/Taurus Mars/Virgo ASCKarmic SoulFriendly bump - sorry, just confused about this one 7 of Cups placement. Thanks!------------------Virgo Sun/Aries Moon/Libra Mercury/Scorpio Venus/Taurus Mars/Virgo ASCEmsieI think it also works as an advice. Maybe he wants you to be more imaginative and creative. But I can see that there aren't any reversed cards, so it could be the other side - like you're too dreamy and he wants you to be more realistic.Just my 2 cents! I'm no expert. TwirlDidn't clearly look at the other cards. Are you together yet or are there other people too? Sometimes it shows the desire for someone making a clear choice for someone and not giving of mixed signals. If not in a relationship I can imagine his desire being just the opposite: don't just focus on him, have other suitors too. Do you read reversals? EmsieIn my experience the King of Cups shows someone who doesn't really give away emotions, so the 'stop giving mixed signals' could be correct here, in my opinion. It reminds me of a part of my own self...
